Welcome To The World

Good morning Crafty Friends! Happy Hump Day! I hope everyone is doing well.

Today I am sharing a card that a friend requested for her daughter who just found out she is having a boy! What wonderful news! It will be her first grandchild so I wanted to make her something very special.

My card is featuring another digital image from Amanda Jayne Designs. Isn't this the cutest little donkey you have ever seen?!

I chose my design paper, cut into the size required and adhered them directly to a navy blue mat. Next, I resized my image and printed it on Neenah Solar White Cardstock and colored using Copics markers. I die cut 3 circles, (2) white & navy blue attached together with glue and added another circle for a little dimension rather than foam dots. I added some foam strips to my image and placed him on the circle. I stamped my sentiment using Versafine Black Ink on Neenah cardstock and die cut using a stitched sentiment strip, snipped the tails on both ends and used foam dots to adhere to bottom of panel. I placed a few blue gems to finish off my card. Thats's it! I really love how this turned out and I hope that my friend feels the same way! Thanks for dropping by!

Sweet Birthday Wishes

Good morning Crafty Friends! Happy Tuesday!

Today's card features a digital image from Amanda Jayne Designs. You can find the most adorable and fun images in her Etsy shop. Easy download and prints nice, clear images. If you love digital images I would highly recommend!

I started by printing the image on Neenah Solar White cardstock and colored with Copic markers and cut the image out with my Scan N Cut machine. I used a retired paper pad by Stampin' Up! Cherry on Top and chose the colorful balloon pattern and cut 3.75 x 5.5 and adhered it directly to the card base. I cut another patterned paper by Waffle Flower Half Dots using MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die-namics and adhered it directly to the center of my card.  I stamped my sentiment on Crushed Curry cardstock using Versafine Black Ink and die cut it using MFT Stitched Sentiment Strip. I adhered the image and sentiment with foam strips and added a few soft blue sequins to finish off my card. I really love how this one turned out!

It's Your Day - Treat Yourself

Good morning and Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend! We are expecting some warmer temperatures this week! I am so excited!!

Today I am sharing a card featuring The Paper Shelter Pepe L'Souris Digital Image. I love how happy he looks while enjoying his cheese. Not a care in the world.

To start my card, I downloaded, resized, printed my image on Neenah Solar White #110 and colored with Copic markers. I cut him out with my Scan N Cut machine. I already knew the scene I wanted so I grabbed some Kraft cardstock and ink blended a Brick stencil with Distress Ink Fired Brick. I cut using MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics adhered to a red panel which was adhered to  a black base. I cut another black panel using MFT Inside & Out Stitched Arch STAX Die-namics and adhered directly to panel. I popped my images on foam strips for dimension. I stamped my sentiments on Neenah cardstock using black Versafine Ink and cut with Avery Elle Simple Sentiments Die 2x for dimension, glued together and adhered directly to panel. To finish off the card I added some black gems. I love how this mouse managed to get the cheese and is now enjoying every bite!

Welcome Spring!

Good morning! Happy Saturday Crafty Friends! Any fun plans this weekend? My husband and I are having dinner with friends tonight. I'm thinking...Italian with a glass of Pinot!

Today I created a cute tag with fun spring colors! Have you noticed the colored panel? It's from my scrap pile left behind from my Panda card posted yesterday. I love being able to make another project with scraps! Don't you?

Today's card is featuring My Favorite Things Favorite Bunny which is long gone but I still have it in my stash. I adore the sweet image of this rag doll looking bunny. I stamped the images on Neenah White, colored with Copic Markers and cut with the coordinating dies. The panel is ink blended with Distress Oxide Inks and dry embossed with Stampin' Up! Wrapped in Texture. I took my Hero Arts Hues Unicorn Ink and gently patted the raised edges to give it some texture. I popped everything on foam strips and finished it off with some yellow ribbon.

I'm sharing an Easter card with you today! I am using a digital image from Polkadoodles which was printed, colored with Copic markers and cut with my Scan N Cut machine. I chose a fun multi-colored dotted paper and adhered directly to my base. I used an oval die and dry embossed it with a polkadot folder and adhered it directly to the panel. I stamped my sentiment and trimmed down to seperate into 2 sentiments.  I placed foam dots on both my image and sentiments and added a double tied bow and some gems to finish off my card. I hope you like it!

Good morning Crafty Friends! Happy Friday to you!

For today's card, I started blending 2 panels of Neenah cardstock using Distress Oxide Inks Lucky Clover, Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron. Next, I used Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Texture Paste and mixed it with a little Lucky Clover Distress Ink on Picket Fence Shadow of Leaves Stencil (retired). I framed my card with the other inked panel using Scalloped Rectangle Dies and flipped it so the colors were at opposite ends of each other.

Next, using a new stamp set, Pawsome Stamps Playful Pandas I stamped, colored and cut my image using my Scan N Cut machine. I then stamped my sentiment on Hero Arts Pitch Black cardstock using Versamark Ink and heat embossed in white embossing powder. I finished off my card I mounted both my image and sentiment with foam dots for dimension.

Wish You the Most Beautiful Day

Hi There and Happy Wednesday!

I had a lot of fun with this 4-step Layering set, Altenew Peony Bouquet. I'm currently taking some Layering classes at Altenew Academy and it is very rewarding. They have a lot of lessons with videos and lots of tips! Go check it out!

To begin my card, I started by stamping the images with Memento Black around my panel. I also stamped the smaller peony and berry leaf on a separate panel and cut them out using my Scan N Cut machine.

My colors were inspired by the current Altenew February Inspiration Challenge. I cut a panel of Hero Arts Pitch Black 4.25 x 1.5 and adhered it to the center of my panel. The sentiment is from Altenew Beautiful Day and was stamped using Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Next, I glued down the berry leaf and added foam dots to my small peony for dimension. I really love how this card turned out.

Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Beautiful, Be You

Hello again!

My card was inspired by the current Altenew Inspiration February Challenge. It features Altenew Craft a Life Kit: Dynamic Blooms. This set includes floral images, sentiments, coordinating dies & stencils and a gorgeous embossing folder.

For my card, I chose to use the stand alone die. I don't see too many cards using it so I thought I would give it some Love. Unsure what the name of this die is but I added a photo so you can see it.

I cut the die 3 times for dimension after ink blending the challenge colors in Distress Oxide Inks Kitsch Flamingo, Twisted Citron, Seedless Preserves & Dried Marigold. I created the background panel with some coordinating patterned paper and cut a panel with MFT Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I stamped a few of the sentiments from the Dynamic Blooms directly to the panel in Versafine Black. I adhered my image directly to the panel and added a few pink gems to finish off my card.

It's a different style card for me but I do like how it turned out. I hope you like it and it inspires you to create something out of your normal style. Step out of your comfort zone, you never know what Beauty will come from it or who you will inspire!

Good morning and Happy Monday!

Today I am sharing a card featuring Woodware Craft Collection - Ladybird Gnome (retired). I was inspired by the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and the rainbow theme at AAA Colourful. I love all the fun colors that brings this Gnome to life.

I started by stamping the images on Neenah Solar White #110 then colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut it. I chose a fun polka dotted pattern, cut 2 pieces on an angle and glued it directly to a white panel and cut using my MFT Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics to frame it. I cut another panel in Stampin' Up! Brilliant Blue and glued to base and attached my framed panel to it. I attached my image with foam dots and added my ladybugs to the base with glue. I stamped the sentiment on Hero Arts Pitch Black using Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder and attached it with foam dots for dimension.

Have a Sloth-Some Birthday

Good morning Crafty Friends! Happy Saturday!

No where to go on this cold snowy wintry day so I have been locked in my craft room all day! Yay! What are YOU doing today? Whatever that is, just enjoy yourselves!

For this card, I'm using one of my newest digital images that I won in a  challenge from Streamside Studios Sloth-Some Sloths. The moment I saw this adorable little sloth I was in love! This set includes a few more cute sloth images along with some yummy treats and witty sentiments.

I began by downloading, resizing and printing my digital image on Neenah Solar White cardstock. I used my Stitched Circle Die-namics from My Favorite Things to cut around the image. I was inspired by My Favorite Things Color Challenge and colored my image with my Prismacolor Colored Pencils

Next, I began ink blending Picket Fence Studios Sprinkles Layering Stencil using Distress Oxide Inks Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron and Iced Spruce. I then pulled out PhotoPlay Nested Stitched Scalloped Etched Dies and adhered it directly to my base. My sentiment is also included in this digital set which I printed and cut using the smallest MFT Wonky Frames Die-namics. To finish this card, I added several blue & teal gems to add some sparkle.

I hope you enjoyed my card! Thank you for visiting!!

Hoppy Easter

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Tuesday! How is everyone holding up with the weather? It was a cold wintry mix by me this morning but the sun is out and everything is fading away! I hope all is well by you!!

Today I am sharing a card that I had sooo much fun creating with all of my NEW goodies! I was inspired by Newton's Nook Inky Paws Sketch Challenge #216 and My Favorite Things Color Challenge #229.

I began with an A2 size panel of Neenah Solar White and used my Waffle Flower Daisy Background Stencil Duo which was just recently released! I used Distress Oxide Inks Picked Raspberry, Twisted Citron & Brushed Corduroy. I cut the panel with You've Been Framed Layering Die by The Rabbit Hole Designs and attached to my base. I added a panel of Stampin' Up! Lemon Lime Twist Gingham DSP across the mid-section of my panel.

From there, I used my Newton's Nook Hoppy Greetings set and colored with Copic Markers and cut out all of the images with my Scan N Cut machine. I stamped the sentiment using Versamark Ink and heat embossed it using black embossing powder. I adhered some images directly to the panel and used foam dots for the rest. To finish off my card I added a trio of soft pink gems. I love all the spring-like colors this card has and makes me hopeful that winter is almost gone!
