Merry Christmas, Reindeer Style!

Hi friends! Today, I'm sharing a festive duo, lighting up the night with holiday spirit featuring The Rabbit Hole Designs 1 Line Reindeer Stamp Set.

I began with a panel of white cardstock, placed the Candy Twist Stencil, and secured it with masking tape. I blended Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink then cut it with the largest frame from the You've Been Framed Layering Dies. It was then attached to a red card base.

I then stamped the images from the 1 Line Reindeer Stamp Set and colored them with alcohol markers. I fussy cut the images and adhered them to the panel with foam tape for dimension. The sentiment is from the same set and was directly stamped onto the panel with black ink. I finished the card by adding a few red sequins.

Thank you for stopping by and have a fantastic day!

Waddle On, It's Christmas Time!

Hi crafty friends! Today I'm sharing a flippin' fun Christmas card featuring the Penguining Stamp Set and coordinating dies from The Rabbit Hole Designs.

I stamped the images from the Penguining stamp set then cut them out with the matching dies. I colored them with alcohol markers. I blended Distress Oxide Salty Ocean using a drift stencil to create soft, snowy hills. I then die-cut the panel using the largest frame from the You've Been Framed Layering Dies and then adhered it to an A2 blue card base.

I stamped the sentiment on purple cardstock and die-cut it using a sentiment strip die which is included in the You've Been Framed Layering Dies. I adhered the images and sentiment with foam tape for added dimension. Silver sequins added a finishing touch to the card.

Thanks for dropping in. Have a PENG-tastic day!!

Happy Halloween

Hi there, crafty friends! Carrianne here sharing a spooky Halloween card using Spooky Sightings Stamp Set from The Rabbit Hole Designs.

I began by stamping the images with Versamark ink on a panel of black cardstock. I then heat embossed the images with clear embossing powder to achieve a no line coloring effect, and then colored them with Prismacolor pencils. I added some gray shading to the bottom of the image for more depth.

The sentiment is from the Jack of All Faces Stamp Set from the latest release. It was stamped and heat embossed onto black cardstock using white embossing powder. I fussy cut it out and then popped it up onto foam strips for dimension.

The panel was cut with the You've Been Framed Layering Dies and adhered to a purple card base. To add some needed sparkle, I added purple sequins.

Thank you for dropping in with me today! Have fantastic day!!

Happy Halloween

Hey, crafty friends! Carrianne here, sharing with you a wicked fun Halloween card featuring the Jack of All Faces Stamp Set

I began with a panel of orange cardstock, and then used the Beam of Light 4x8 Stencil and ink blended with Distress Oxide Wilted Violet using the Cottontail Blending Brush to create this wicked design. Next, I cut it using the You've Been Framed Layering Dies and adhered it to a purple A2 card base.

I then stamped the pumpkins, colored them with alcohol markers, and then cut them out using my Scan N Cut machine. I popped the pumpkins up with foam strips for dimension. I felt that it needed something more, so I decided to use another set from The Rabbit Hole Designs, the Spooky Sightings Stamp Set. Two of the spiders from this set were stamped and colored, then cut out. The spiders were adhered to the panel with glue.

The sentiment is from the same set. I prepared a piece of black cardstock using the Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool, then inked the sentiment with Versamark ink. I then heat embossed it with white embossing powder and trimmed then popped up with foam strips for additional dimension. The card was completed with a few purple sequins for added interest and sparkle.

Thank you for dropping in today. Have a Fantastic day!

The Rabbit Hole Designs September Release Blog Hop

Happy Release Day, friends! Today, we are celebrating The Rabbit Hole Designs September Release, which is filled with pumpkins galore. The Jack of All Faces Stamp Set is available to purchase now.

To create the background, I used the smooshing technique on an A2 size Canson XL watercolor panel. I applied Distress Oxide inks Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron, and Spiced Marmalade to my craft sheet and lightly misted it with water. Next, I smooshed the panel into the wet ink, creating the smooshed background.  I used my heat tool to quickly dry the panel, and adhered it to an A2 card base.

I created the frame by die cutting together the large and middle dies from the You've Been Framed Layering Dies from purple cardstock. I then adhered it to the panel with glue.

I stamped the image using Memento black ink, colored it with alcohol markers, and then cut it out with the matching die. I also used another image from this set, but I only wanted the bats, so I fussy cut into the stamped image to remove them. The bats were colored, and the images were adhered to the panel with foam strips to give them more dimension.

Thank you for dropping in with me today! Have a Fantastic day!

Birthday Wishes

Hi there, and happy Sunday! It's time for a new challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends. As you know, it's always anything goes, and our generous sponsor is Sheepski Designs. They are offering the lucky winner three digital images from their shop. I sure hope you play along with us. Have fun and good luck!

My card features Sheepski Designs Gladioli digital image. I began by downloading, sizing and printing the image on Neenah white cardstock 80#. I then colored it with Copic markers. I cut the panel using The Rabbit Hole Designs You've Been Framed Layering Dies. I then cut out a panel of peach cardstock slightly bigger and then layered them together onto a white card base.  I finished the card with some peach sequins.

I hope you enjoyed my card. Thanks for stopping by and have a fantastic day!!

The Rabbit Hole Designs August 2024 Release Blog Hop

Hello, friends! Today, I am so excited to announce the August 2024 New Release of not one but TWO adorable balloon stamp sets with coordinating dies by The Rabbit Hole Designs, as well as a blog hop with loads of inspiration from our amazing design team. You can find the full hop list at the end of this post.

I will be showcasing the Balloon Animals Set #1 for you, as well as some products from the July release.

I created the background using the Paisley Bandana Stencil from the July release, which I used in a variety of bright colors. I then proceeded to cut the panel using the middle-sized You've Been Framed Layering Dies, followed by cutting a pink panel using the largest of the dies. I then used the smallest of the dies on vellum. I adhered them together and attached them to an A2 white card base.

I then stamped the floral balloon image from the Balloon Animals Stamp Set #1 and colored it with alcohol markers, which were consistent with the background. I then cut it out using the matching die. The sentiment is from Sentimentally Speaking Stamp Set also from the July release and was stamped in black ink, cut with the matching dies, and adhered to the panel with foam strips to add dimension. I also added iridescent sequins for a touch of sparkle to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed my card and that you find inspiration to create one yourself today. Please be sure to follow along on the hop for even more inspiration.

Sending Hugs

Happy Friday everyone! I am delighted to share with you a card I created using the Pinwheel Stencil, Mindful Magnolias Stamp Set, You've Been Framed Layering Dies and Sentimentally Speaking Stamp Set and Dies from The Rabbit Hole Designs. I love how the pink pops against the black background.

I began with an A-2 size white panel. I positioned the pinwheel stencil on top and secured it with masking tape. The background was created using Distress Oxide inks: Black Soot, Weathered Wood, and Iced Spruce. Next, I cut the panel with the largest frame from the You've Been Framed Layering Dies and adhered it to a pink card base.

The magnolias were then stamped onto another panel and colored with alcohol markers. From there, I fussy cut the images, but matching dies are available. I adhered them to the panel using foam strips to provide dimension. The sentiment comes from the Sentimentally Speaking Stamp set. It was heat embossed on black cardstock with white embossing powder, cut out using the Sentimentally Speaking Dies, and then adhered with foam strips. I finished the card with a few sequins.

Thank you for dropping in with me today! Have a Fantastic day!
