Stop & Smell the Flowers

It’s finally Artful Angel Release Day, and I’m absolutely thrilled to share a fun, whimsical card I’ve created using the brand-new Growing Gardens Stamp Set, paired with the super adorable Garden Gnomes Stamp Set! These sets are perfect for bringing a little magic and charm to your creations.

I began by stamping the images and coloring them with Copic Markers, then cut them out using my Scan N Cut machine. 

For the background, I started with a panel of watercolor cardstock and trimmed it down to 3 1/4 x 8 1/4 for a slimline card. I then blended a spring-like scene using Distress Oxide inks in Salty Ocean and Twisted Citron, creating a fresh, vibrant atmosphere. To add some texture and a bit of interest, I splattered water onto the panel, letting the droplets create a subtle, speckled effect.

Next, I die-cut a slimline scalloped border from white cardstock and carefully adhered it to the panel for a clean, finished look. To add some dimension, I popped the images into place with foam tape, giving the card a bit of extra depth and interest. The sentiment was stamped in black ink onto a piece of white cardstock, then carefully trimmed to size. I adhered it directly to the panel, positioning it to perfectly complement the overall design.
