Hi friends! It’s Thursday, so that means it’s time for the This or That Hop on Instagram! This week’s theme is Clean & Simple or Intricate.
If you know me, you know I’m all about that Clean & Simple (CAS) life, although sometimes, it might not feel that simple! But what always draws me in is the beauty of clean lines and all that lovely white space. Which style are you drawn to - Clean & Simple or Intricate?
My card showcases the adorable C.C. Designs Bubble Bath Swissie, paired with the fun Miss Ink Stamps Random Dots Stencil.
I began by stamping the image and coloring it with Copic Markers. Afterward, I used my Scan N Cut to carefully cut it out. For the background, I masked a panel of white alcohol-friendly cardstock and placed the Miss Ink Stamps Random Dots Stencil on top. I then used Copic markers to add color to the bubbles, giving them a soft, playful look.
I cut two strips of glitter cardstock and adhered them to both sides of the bubbles for a pop of sparkle and to add a bit of dimension. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and popped the images on foam tape to give the design some lift and create a clean, finished look.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a wonderful day filled with creativity and joy!

Such a sweet image on this pretty card in shades of blue. Thanks for sharing it with us at Allsorts
ReplyDeleteShe's such a sweetie and the card so beautiful! I've been trying out so many card styles over the years and decided that no matter what style I make, I usually like some sort of "clean element" even if it's just a crisp white card base. Unless I make something real vintage.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining in the fun at "I spy with my little eye" and Allsorts challenges!
