Hi friends! Today, I’m sharing a stunning design featuring the Meadow Burst Stencil Set by Altenew. I had an idea, gave it a try, and I’m thrilled with how it turned out. Let’s take a closer look at the details of this card!
I started with a panel of white cardstock, securing it onto my Stampwheel. I positioned the Meadow Burst Stencil Set at an angle to create a dynamic effect and lightly marked the circle guides with a pencil for accurate placement. Using Blushberry Bliss Fresh Dye Ink and Ruby Red from the Red Cosmos Fresh Dye Ink set, I blended the colors from lightest to darkest through each layering stencil, creating a stunning gradient effect. Once finished, I erased the pencil marks and continued with the next steps.
I then rotated the panel and repositioned the stencil on the opposite side, marking it with a pencil for precision. I blended the same ink shades through the stencil again, creating a smooth, continuous color flow across the panel.
To add a bit more visual interest, I splattered some Blush Rose and black ink for a fun, textured effect that complements the design.
Next, I blended Dusty Pink and Blush Rose on a white panel and die-cut it using the Timeless Sentiments Die Set. I cut the shadow from vellum and carefully adhered the pieces together for a subtle, layered effect. The sub-sentiment, from the Sincere Sentiments Stamp Set, was heat embossed on black cardstock with white embossing powder for a striking contrast. I then popped the sentiments up with additional die cuts for added dimension. Finally, I adhered it all to a pink card base to complete the design.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a wonderful day filled with creativity and joy!
