Today I'm sharing a tropical card that's full of sunshine, lush greenery, and a pair of adorable toucans! The June Kit of the Month from La-La Land Crafts made creating this cheerful scene so much fun, and I couldn't resist leaning into all those tropical vibes.
I started by creating a soft sky background and used the Stitched Clouds Border Die as a stencil to add fluffy clouds. This simple technique adds depth and helps set the scene without overwhelming the focal images.
The stars of the card are the sweet toucans from the Toucan Do It Clear Stamp Set. I colored them in bright, vibrant shades and nestled them among the gorgeous foliage from the Tropical Leaves Frame Die. The tropical flowers add pops of color throughout the design, bringing even more life and energy to the scene.
For the sentiment, I used the Scalloped Sentiment Labels Die, which creates the perfect focal point while adding a sweet decorative touch. Every element works together to create a fun tropical escape that feels like a mini vacation on paper.
