Nothing says birthday fun quite like bright colors, sweet treats, and a card full of cheerful details! This playful birthday design was such a joy to create, featuring layered patterned papers, happy color combinations, and the adorable Sweet Birthday Girl image from My Favorite Things colored with Copics.
For this card, I leaned into a fun and festive vibe by mixing playful patterns and bold colors while keeping the layout balanced and clean. The patterned paper from Stampin’ Up! Cherry on Top DSP (retired) added the perfect playful touch with its cheerful designs and vibrant colors, helping bring the entire birthday theme to life.
The sweet birthday girl image instantly became the star of the card. Coloring her with Copics added softness, dimension, and personality that tied all the bright elements together beautifully. From the tiny details to the layered textures, every piece helped create that perfect birthday celebration feel.
To keep all the layers secure, I used my favorite tape runner adhesive, then added foam adhesive throughout the design for extra dimension and pop. Those raised elements really help the card come to life and make the details stand out even more.
This card is full of color, celebration, and sweet birthday energy—perfect for making someone’s special day even brighter. Cue the candles, grab the cupcakes, and let the birthday fun begin!
