Today I’m sharing a pair of sweet little holiday projects featuring the Lawn Fawn Woodland Critter Huggers and the Woodland Critter Huggers Winter Add-On Dies. I created a reindeer and a fox, and these two absolutely stole my heart!
These dies are already adorable, but adding the winter accessories really brings them to life. The tiny scarves, hats, and mittens give each critter its own personality — perfect for adding a playful touch to your holiday decorations or gifts.
Creating the Critters
I die-cut all the pieces using Cardstock Warehouse cardstock, which is always a joy to work with. The colors are vibrant, the paper cuts cleanly, and the weight makes assembling these tiny critters easy and precise.
For assembly, I used Tape Runner adhesive, which made it quick and simple to layer all the little pieces together without any mess. It’s perfect for these detailed die cuts, especially with the tiny accessories from the Winter Add-On set.
Once assembled, these critters can easily be turned into tree ornaments by adding a small loop of ribbon or twine, or they can become adorable gift tags for presents under the tree. Their versatility makes them perfect for spreading a little handmade holiday cheer.
Endless Ways to Use These Cuties
These little critters are perfect for:
Tree ornaments
Gift tags
Stand-up tabletop decorations
Stocking stuffers or little keepsakes
The possibilities are endless, and it’s hard not to want to make a whole forest of these tiny woodland friends!
