Pretty in Pink: A Playful Christmas Card with The Rabbit Hole Designs One Line Santa

Hi crafty friends!

This holiday season, I decided to step outside the usual red-and-green palette and create a fun pink Christmas card featuring The Rabbit Hole Designs One Line Santa and the Holiday Background Builder Stencil and paired it with the Candy Twist Stencil. It’s playful, festive, and extremely popular!

I started by creating the background with the Candy Twist Stencil and pink paper glaze, adding just the right amount of shimmer. Once dry, I die-cut the panel with the largest You’ve Been Framed Layering Die for a polished look.

Next, I stamped Santa slightly below center on a separate white panel. To protect him while adding background details, I used a mask I had from a previous card. Then, using the Holiday Background Builder Stencil, I added more pink glaze to create twinkling stars behind Santa. Once the glaze was dry, I die-cut the Santa panel with the smallest die from the layering set, which framed him perfectly.

For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Sentimentally Speaking Holiday Set in pink ink and adhered it directly to the panel. The final step was mounting everything on a darker pink card base — the layered pink tones and shimmer make Santa really pop.

I love how this card turned out! It proves that non-traditional holiday colors can feel just as festive as classic red and green.
