Sending Warm Blessings featuring Lili of the Valley - Autumn Girls

I’m excited to share my latest autumn-inspired card, created using Lili of the Valley’s Digital Collection – Autumn Girls. I think we all have those days when we just want to sit back, soak up the season, and let the world slow down a bit—just like this little girl perched on her pumpkin, enjoying a quiet autumn moment.

I printed the image and colored it with Copic markers, then trimmed the image panel to 3.5 x 5.5 inches, ready to be layered onto the card.


For the card base, I started with a white card base and layered salmon polka-dot patterned paper trimmed to 4.25 x 5.5 inches. On top of that, I added olive green striped paper trimmed to 4 x 5.5 inches, creating a layered side framing effect. The colored image panel was then adhered in the center, allowing the patterned papers to accentuate and frame the image beautifully.


The sentiment, from Altenew’s Warm Blessings, was stamped in crisp black ink at the bottom center of the panel. To add a finishing touch, I placed a few gold gems around the image. Their subtle shine and raised surface catch the light and draw the eye, giving the card a touch of elegance and enhancing the overall sense of depth.

This card was such a joy to create and is perfect for sending a little autumn cheer to someone special. I hope it inspires you to pull out your markers, patterned papers, and gems to make something cozy and colorful for the season!
