Today I'm sharing a clean and classic holiday card featuring the Poinsettia & Pinecones Bundle from The Rabbit Hole Designs, paired with the versatile Holiday Background Builder Stencil. This combo is full of festive charm and perfect for cozy cardmaking sessions!
To start, I stamped the single poinsettia image onto a white A2 panel, then created a quick mask using a post-it note. With the mask in place, I stamped the pinecones and foliage image slightly offset to tuck it behind the poinsettia and build some dimension.
After removing the mask I colored everything with alcohol markers to bring in those rich reds and earthy greens that feel just like the holidays.
To add a little extra festive flair, I used the Holiday Background Builder Stencil to blend a few red stars into the top corners. To tie it all together, I used a red marker to add some tiny dots around parts of the poinsettia and foliage, framing the image subtly and giving it a bit more visual interest.
For the sentiment, I stamped it in black ink on white cardstock, cut it out, and popped it up with foam tape for a bit of dimension. I adhered the finished panel to a white card base and just like that, a holiday card full of warmth and winter cheer!
It’s always amazing how just a few well-loved supplies - one stamp set, one stencil, and a little masking can come together to create something simple yet special.
