Hello everyone! Today, I’m excited to share a beautiful floral card featuring the Perfect Peony digital image. Our theme this week was Mother’s Day, and since my mom absolutely loves peonies, this card will definitely bring a smile to her face! I paired the image with the lovely Mother’s Day digital sentiments to complete the design.
I printed the Perfect Peony image twice — once on cardstock and once on regular copy paper to create a mask. After placing the mask on top of the image, I splattered some black ink over it to add a touch of texture and contrast.
I added color to the image using my Prismacolor pencils to bring out the beautiful details of the peony, blending the colors for a soft, rich finish. Then, I adhered the colored image to a white A2 card base to complete the card.
