Hi friends! Today, I’m excited to share my second DT card from Lili of the Valley's February release, Fluffy Kisses. I’m featuring the adorable Bunny Rocket image, and I love how fun and whimsical it is! The bunnies in this release are absolutely adorable. If you’re a fan of bunnies and sweet designs, this release is definitely for you!
I began by coloring the adorable image with Copic Markers, then used my Scan N Cut to easily cut it out.
For the background, I used one of my favorite techniques, stamping with a stencil. I inked up a star stencil, gave it a light spritz of water, then carefully flipped it over and pressed it onto a watercolor panel to transfer the ink, creating a soft, textured watercolor effect. I adhered it to a navy blue mat and then to an A2 white card base.
I adhered the image with foam tape for dimension and die-cut the sentiment using a fishtail die, which I then adhered to the panel with liquid adhesive.
