Happy Easter

Happy Sunday, friends! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend. I’m getting a head start on my Easter cards and couldn’t wait to share this adorable one featuring Simon Says Stamps You Make Me Hoppy.

I began by stamping and coloring all the cute images with my Copic Markers. While I used my Scan N Cut to cut them out, there are coordinating dies available that would work perfectly too!

For the background, I blended Distress Oxide inks in Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn, and Twisted Citron on a white panel and die-cut it with the Time for Tea Stitched Window Die. For the second panel, I blended the same inks and added Squeezed Lemonade to create a cheerful spring background, spritzed it with water, and adhered it to the first panel. Using the negative pieces, I die-cut some grass and placed it in the open window, then attached the whole panel to a white card base.

I adhered the images using a mix of liquid adhesive and foam tape to add dimension. The sentiment was stamped in black ink, fussy cut, and also popped up with foam tape.

Thanks for hopping by! Hope your day is as sweet as an Easter treat!
