Feel Better

Hi there, friends! We’re back with a brand new challenge at Beautiful Blossoms Challenge, and as always, it’s Anything Floral Goes! An optional mood board is available for extra inspiration. I can’t wait to see all your beautiful creations! Happy Crafting! 

For this card, I’ve used the Altenew Build-A-Flower: Camelia Japonica along with one of my all-time favorite techniques using the Wavy Grid Stencil for adding depth and texture!

To create the background, I began with a white cardstock panel, securing it onto my stamp wheel. I then placed a stencil on top and mixed up some embossing paste with Water Hyacinth from the Blue Mountains Fresh Dye Ink Set set to add some color and applied it through the stencil with a palette knife.

I stamped the floral and leaf images using the layering stamps and colored them accordingly. Then, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out and adhered them to the panel with foam tape for added dimension. The sentiment is from the Classic Greetings set, which I stamped to complete the design.
