Happy New Year, everyone! We’re kicking off 2025 with our first Wacky & Obscure Holidays Card Hop on Instagram, where we celebrate the often-overlooked holidays throughout the year.
I chose to show some love for National Houseplant Appreciation Day, January 10th. This is a reminder to nurture and care for your plants to help them thrive.
For my card, I used the Prickly Pear - Slimline Hanging Plants stamp set. I created a one-layer design by stamping the images directly onto the panel and coloring them with Copic Markers. The sentiment was stamped directly onto the panel as well.
For the background, I added a subtle brick pattern using a stencil. For the ground, I used the My Favorite Things - On Solid Ground stamp set and colored it in with Altenew Monochrome Shading Pencils in 6B and 10B.
