Miss You

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing a card that was inspired by the Simon Says Stamp Instagram Challenge – White on White. This challenge was a tough one for me, but that’s exactly why I love challenges! Pushing myself out of my comfort zone is always so rewarding.

My card features the stunning Craft-A-Flower: Rhododendron Layering Die SetThis is my first layering die set, as I don’t usually work with dies, but I think it may have just turned my creative world upside down! It was so fun to play with and truly took my design to the next level. Plus, the step-by-step instructions made the assembly process a breeze.

I began by carefully cutting all the dies from different shades of white - heavy cardstock, shimmer white, iridescent hematite and vellum to add depth and dimension to the design. Once the pieces were ready, I followed the step-by-step instructions included with the die set and assembled the layers using liquid adhesive. The process was straightforward, and the instructions made it so easy to create the beautiful, layered effect.

I took a panel of white cardstock and added a subtle touch of texture by splattering sterling silver metallic watercolor from the Altenew Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set

I followed Jaycee's rule of thirds from his Floral Composition lesson to position the floral elements for a balanced design. I adhered the images with liquid adhesive and used foam tape on some layers for added dimension.

The sentiment is from Altenew Elegant Sayings Bundle, which includes both the stamp and matching die set. I heat-embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder to give it a shiny, elegant finish, then used the coordinating dies for a precise cut. To add extra dimension, I adhered the sentiment with foam tape, allowing it to really stand out on the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I really love how my card turned out and am so happy I gave this challenge a try. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Have a wonderful day, and happy crafting!
