Love You, Friend

Hi friends! Today, I’m sharing a card inspired by Bridget Casey’s Live Facebook session from last week, though I’ve made a little twist of my own. While Bridget used foil for her gorgeous design, I didn’t quite go that route (sorry to disappoint!). Instead, I used some leftover panels I created during my Stencil Craze Live Workshop from my final AECP challenge.

I used the Craft-A-Flower: Rhododendron Layering Die Set and carefully positioned the dies on my inked panel before running it through the die-cutting machine. I’m absolutely thrilled with how it turned out! For an extra touch of sparkle, I cut the stamen dies from ombre glitter cardstock, and it added just the right amount of shimmer!

Next, I cut the Frilly Frame die from gold metallic cardstock. The rich gold adds a beautiful contrast to the colorful flowers and gives the card an elegant, finished look. I used the Subtle Embossing Folder on a white A2 panel to add a soft, textured background.

Now it was time to assemble everything! I started by positioning the frilly frame in the center of the embossed panel, securing it with liquid adhesive. Next, I assembled the Craft-A-Flower: Rhododendron Layering Die Set using the keyhole system which is absolutely genius, by the way!

Once that was all put together, I adhered one of the florals to the top-right and the other on the bottom left using foam tape for some added dimension, then I tucked the leaves underneath the petals and secured them with liquid glue.

The sentiment, from the Classic Greetings set, was stamped in bold black ink and die-cut using the matching die. I popped it up with foam tape. To finish off the card, I added a few Satin Gold Sequins for a touch of sparkle and elegance. The final result? A beautifully layered card that’s full of texture, color, and just the right amount of shine!

Thanks so much for stopping by—wishing you a wonderful day filled with creativity!
