Fire Breathing Birthday Wishes

Hi friends! I'm excited to share a card featuring Lili of the Valley's newest release, Dragons and Unicorns. The collection includes the most adorable images of these magical creatures!

My card showcases one of the many super cute dragons from the set. I made this with my nephew in mind, as his birthday is just around the corner, and I’m sure he’ll absolutely love it!

I printed the dragon, colored it with Copic markers, and carefully fussy cut it out. For the starry night, I downloaded several star images, arranged them digitally, and used a stitched circle die to cut the design. Then, I colored the stars with Prismacolor pencils to add depth and detail.

Next, I took a white panel and die-cut a scalloped stitched circle in the center. I then adhered the stars behind it using liquid adhesive. To add dimension, I popped up the cute little dragon with foam tape. The sentiment was printed, die-cut with a fish-tail die, and attached to the panel with liquid adhesive.

I can't wait to send this to my nephew—of course, there will be a little extra something tucked inside for a little extra birthday joy!
