Hi friends! I'm so excited to be guest designing for Pixi Dust Designs! For this card, I've used the Let's Eat Cake Die Set, and it's truly perfect for celebrating any occasion. I can't wait to share the fun details with you!
I created a festive background by spraying Tim Holtz Distress Holiday Mica Stain on Yupo paper, giving it a vibrant, shimmery Christmas feel for my cake design! I then used the 3-tier cake die and ran it through my cutting machine. To add dimension, I cut another cake from white cardstock and adhered the two layers together with liquid glue.
Next, I cut the icing from red cardstock and layered the pieces together. I cut a panel with a frame die and adhered it to a red card base, then added the cake with liquid glue.
To give it a holiday touch, I cut snowflakes from white glitter cardstock for a bit of sparkle. The sentiment was heat embossed on black cardstock and adhered with foam tape for extra dimension.
I'm thrilled with how it turned out and hope it brings you as much joy as it brought me to create!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I truly appreciate it!
