Hi friends!
I created a BOO-tiful mashup of Halloween and Christmas with Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas movie. This is, undoubtedly, my son's absolute favorite Christmas movie. We constantly debate which holiday it represents. I believe it to be a Halloween movie, but Jack is curious about Christmas. What are your thoughts on this matter?
My card features C.C. Designs, Jack Clear Stamp Set and Simon Says Stamp, Holiday Words (retired), BOO! Wafer Die.
I began with a Neenah #80 panel and inked the stamp with Distress Oxide inks, Wilted Violet, Lucky Clover, and Orange Marmalade. I spritzed it with water, then flipped it over, placed it on the panel, and then pressed down. I then blended the same colors for a fun background.
Then, I stamped the image, colored it with Copic markers, and cut it out with my Scan N Cut machine. After die-cutting all the other elements for my card, I then assembled them together. I love how it turned out and will send this card to my son for Halloween just to make a point.
