Hi crafty friends! Welcome to our October Challenge at The Paper Funday Challenge Blog.
Our two generous sponsors this month are Rachel Ann Miller (RAM) and Star Stampz. As always, the theme is Anything Goes with an Optional Twist, which is the Colors of Autumn, perfect for the change in season. Take a walk and maybe you will be inspired by what you see.
For my card, I opted for the twist and created a delightful fall wreath card using the Alex Syberia Designs Holiday Wreath Branch Stencil & Die Set. I blended some fall colors using the 4-piece layering stencil and then die-cut it out using the coordinating dies.
Next, I used a stitched square die set and a 5.5" panel on cranberry cardstock and another 3" on white cardstock and dry embossed it using the WOOD folder. I then cut a green mat slightly larger than the center panel and adhered them all together with liquid glue. To give the wreath and bow more dimension, foam tape was used to adhere them to the panel.
The sentiment is from a set and was heat embossed with white embossing powder on black cardstock. I cut it out using a sentiment strip and adhered it with foam tape. To complete the card, green sequins were added.
