It's Time To Party

Hi there friends! I am so excited to be sharing my first card with you as a member of the Design Team for The Paper Funday Challenges. 

For this month's challenge, we are asking you to use either Simon Says Stamps or A Colorful Life Designs products to create your projects. If you do not have any products from either brand in your stash, you could use the optional twist option and create your own background. I am looking forward to seeing your projects. Happy Crafting!

I used Party Like a Panda from Simon Says Stamp, and I also created my own background. Let's dive into the details!

For my background, I used one of my go-to techniques when creating with a stencil, referred to as stamping with a stencil. I began with a Canson XL watercolor panel. I positioned it on my Atenew Stampwheel to secure it. I used Distress Oxide inks, Salty Ocean, and Spun Sugar and dabbed them onto the Birthday Words Stencil from Pretty Pink Posh. I spritzed it with water, flipped it over, and placed it on my panel. I gently pressed down with a cloth and then removed the stencil. I really love how it turned out.
