Let It Snow!

Happy Saturday, friends! I'm sharing a card that I created for the August Christmas Caroling Instagram hop. My card is based on the song Let It Snow and was inspired by a childhood memory of a snow day.

My card features Unity Stamp Co. 3 Snowbuddies which was stamped, colored and cut out using my Scan N Cut machine and set aside.


The background was created using the Ink N Splatter Winter Blues 6 x 6 Paper Pad which was glued directly to an A2 card base. A white panel was cut using a snow drift die after stamping the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Winter Greetings directly to it with Versafine Onyx black ink. I adhered it to the card base with foam strips for dimension. 


To add texture to the scene, I cut a few evergreen trees from Sizzix on olive green cardstock and glued them under the snow drift. The image was popped up on foam strips for more dimension, and snowflakes and sequins were added to complete the card.
