My card features a digital image from Pattie's Creations, Tropical Drink with Umbrellas. I colored it using Copic markers and die-cut it using a rounded rectangle frame. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the panel. The background was created using two fun beach scene papers of sand and water from My Favorite Things. For added interest, I added some fun embellishments.

Let's Celebrate

Happy Saturday, everyone. It is a new month, so it's time for a new Wacky Holidays card hop on Instagram where we give some love to the other and often overlooked holidays throughout the year.

I have selected National Girlfriends Day, which is observed on the 1st of August worldwide, as a means of celebrating the special bond of friendship. I am blessed to have a close circle of friends, and we meet once a month to catch up on life and enjoy our time together. 

To create my card, I selected Stamping Bella, Tiny Dancers from the Tiny Townies Collection, which has been retired. I stamped the image and colored it with Copic markers. I used the A2 Curved Edge Die from Simon Says Stamp, splattered with some cohesive colors for interest, and then adhered the image with foam strips. The panel was then adhered to a piece of colorful patterned paper, then to a white card base with foam strips for additional dimension.

A Very Happy Hello

Happy Friday everyone! 

It's a new month, which means we have a new challenge at Colorful Options. We're celebrating yellow and green this month, but of course, you always have the rainbow color option if you don't like the chosen hues.

My favorite colored flowers are yellow, so I decided to create a floral card. I chose Concord & 9th, Hello Lovely Stamp Set. This is probably one of my first floral sets that I purchased in my early crafting days. 

I started with an A2-sized panel of Neenah Solar White #80. After stamping the image with Memento Black ink, I colored it with Copic markers. I applied black ink splatters to create texture using my Stampin' Up Write Markers. 

The sentiment is from Gina K. Colossal Coneflower and was stamped directly onto the panel. I then adhered the panel to a yellow-green mat and then to a white card base. I completed the card by adding yellow sequins.

Happy Friday everyone! I am delighted to share with you a card I created using the Pinwheel Stencil, Mindful Magnolias Stamp Set, You've Been Framed Layering Dies and Sentimentally Speaking Stamp Set and Dies from The Rabbit Hole Designs. I love how the pink pops against the black background.

I began with an A-2 size white panel. I positioned the pinwheel stencil on top and secured it with masking tape. The background was created using Distress Oxide inks: Black Soot, Weathered Wood, and Iced Spruce. Next, I cut the panel with the largest frame from the You've Been Framed Layering Dies and adhered it to a pink card base. 

The magnolias were then stamped onto another panel and colored with alcohol markers. From there, I fussy cut the images, but matching dies are available. I adhered them to the panel using foam strips to provide dimension. The sentiment comes from the Sentimentally Speaking Stamp set. It was heat embossed on black cardstock with white embossing powder, cut out using the Sentimentally Speaking Dies, and then adhered with foam strips. I finished the card with a few sequins.

With Sympathy

Today, I am sharing a sympathy card that was created for a close friend who lost her father at the age of 101.

My card features the Pawsome Stamps, Loving Thoughts floral set. The images were stamped twice and colored with Copic markers. The images were cut out with my Scan N Cut machine.

I used Altenew's Vintage Roses Add-On Stamp Set and inked it up with Forest Glades to create a soft background. I adhered the floral images to foam strips to add dimension and cut off excess. The sentiment was heat embossed and cut with the matching die from The Rabbit Hole Designs Sentimentally Speaking Stamp and Die Set. I added black sequins to finish off the card.

You're Always On My Nice List

Hello crafty friends! I hope you are having an enjoyable weekend. I am writing this post as I sit on my patio on a beautiful day at the Jersey Shore, with sunny and cool temperatures and low humidity. 

It is still Christmas in July, and I am joining in the fun again with the Kat Scrappiness, Pick 3 Challenge. Go check it out, there is still time to play along!

I started my card with the Pinkfresh Studio Diagonal Stripes with Window Die, cut it out on a red panel, and adhered it to a green card base with glue. The images were stamped and colored with Copic markers before being cut out with the coordinating dies. For dimension, I adhered the images to foam strips. 

The sentiment was heat embossed and die cut using a rectangle die, and then adhered directly to the panel with glue. I completed the card with a few red sequins.

Just Because

Hello friends. Carrianne here. I am so happy to be back on The Rabbit Hole Designs Blog! Today, I would like to share with you a card featuring the Paisley Bandana Layering Stencil from the July release. This set contains two 6 x6 stencils that are easy to layer together. 

I started with an A2-sized panel of lavender colored cardstock. I blended two shades of purple, creating a fun paisley background. I adhered it to my card base with glue at an angle to create a fun design. I turned it over and trimmed the excess material from the edges with my craft scissors.

Pro Tip: When trimming the edges of a card, always start from the backside by flipping it over. This will prevent cutting the card base and make sure the cut is clean.

The Sentimentally Speaking Stamp Set and coordinating dies are also from the new release. I stamped the sentiment in purple ink, cut it with the matching die, and then popped it up on foam dots for dimension. I added purple sequins to complete the card.

Have a Holly Jolly Christmas

Hello, crafty friends! Were you aware that today is actually the official day of Christmas in July? It originated from a summer camp held in North Carolina on July 25th in an attempt to extend the summer festivities. 

To create the background, I used the La-La Land Christmas Trees Stencil Set which includes two layering stencils that you may use together or separately. I cut the panel using the PhotoPlay A2 Nested Stitched Scallops Dies and adhered it to a red card base.

I used an image from Simon Says Stamp, Gnome for the Holidays (retired), and colored it with Copic markers. I then adhered it to the panel with foam strips for dimension. The sentiment is from Honey Bee Stamps Santa's Village Stamp Set. I then die-cut it with Stampin' Up! Tasteful Labels Dies. To complete the card, I added a strand of gold twine behind it to add interest, and then adhered it to the panel with foam strips.
