Gnome Tricks, Just Treats!

I was inspired by My Favorite Hop on Instagram, and this week’s theme was to use a favorite Halloween stamp and/or die set so I pulled out Halloween Gnomies from Simon Says StampI couldn’t resist the Candy Corn Gnome, especially since candy corn has always been my favorite Halloween treat!

I began by blending an autumn scene on a panel of white cardstock using Distress Oxide Inks in Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, and Candied Apple. The warm, vibrant background sets the stage for the adorable Candy Corn Gnomein a cheerful fall setting.

I stamped the Candy Corn Gnome along with fun candy images, then colored them to create a playful, cheerful fall scene. The sentiment, “Gnome Tricks, Just Treats!”, was heat embossed in white on black cardstock for a whimsical finishing touch.

To add depth and dimension, I layered two strips of grass cut from Old Olive cardstock, shading them with Distress Oxide Forest Moss for extra texture, and tucked all the images behind them with foam tape. A half moon and two tiny stars floating above complete the scene, creating a charming Halloween vignette full of sweetness and fun.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy crafting!
