Good morning, and happy Thursday, Crafty Friends!
Today, I am sharing a card inspired by an Instagram Hop that I participate in every week on Thursday. It's called April Showers Bring...Hop! There are two optional themes from which we can choose and create a card. This week, the choice was between a library and a pet. For me, it was a no-brainer! My card features a digital image of Daisy Monkey, Amanda Jayne Designs. Amanda has an adorable Etsy shop with the cutest animal images. If you like my card, I highly recommend visiting her shop.
I simply printed the image and colored the image with Copic markers. I added more detail to the image with Prismacolor pencils. My image and patterned papers were cut with My Favorite Things Inside & Out Stitched Arch STAX Die-namics. I also used Grassy Border Dies by Lawn Fawn to cut grass for the bottom of the arched panel. I then decided to add some texture to the background, so I took a panel and dry embossed it with the Park Lane Vines Embossing Folder. This was the perfect setting for my monkey.
