Hello friends!
I’m so excited to share a new card I created featuring one of the sweetest images from Lili of the Valley’s latest digital collection - Autumn Girls. This adorable little girl with her basket of apples instantly reminded me of one of my favorite fall traditions—apple picking!
There’s something truly special about spending a crisp autumn day outdoors, wandering through rows of apple trees, picking the juiciest fruits, and sharing smiles with fellow apple lovers. It’s a magical experience where strangers often become friends, united by the simple joy of harvest. Have you ever gone apple picking? If not, I highly recommend it—it’s such a heartwarming way to welcome the season.
For my card, I colored her wearing a red sweater and soft teal overalls. I adhered patterned papers—soft teal with polka dots and warm red stripes—together, then die-cut them with a scalloped rectangle die and layered it onto a clean white card base for a fresh, polished look.
The sentiment is from an older set by Clearly Besotted. I stamped it, die-cut it with a small stitched circle, and popped it up with foam tape for dimension.
