The Paper Funday July Challenge - DT Card

Welcome back to The Paper Funday Challenges!

We’re thrilled to have you joining us for another month of creativity and inspiration. This month’s challenge is proudly sponsored by Lawn Fawn and Newton’s Nook, and we’re keeping things wide open with an Anything Goes theme! But to add a little extra spark, we’re giving it a fun twist: Fun with Stencils!

To frame the design, I used the Slimline Waves Die from Whimsy Stamps as a decorative border, adding a wave-inspired edge that perfectly complements the theme. 

For the background, I blended shades of blue and beige ink to create a beachy backdrop full of summer fun. I also included a sun die and two wave dies from the La-La Land Crafts June Kit of the Month to add more dimension and a playful, layered look. 

The sentiment is from the same Newton’s Nook set, and I heat embossed it in black for a crisp, bold finish. All the elements came together to make this slimline card feel like a mini day at the beach!
