How Air You?

Hello Crafty Friends. How air you today? Carrianne here sharing more inspiration to get your crafty day started!

My card  features the adorable Balloon Animals 1 Stamp Set and Balloon Animals 1 Dies, illustrated by Dustin Pike. How cute is this balloon dog? I just love him!

I began by creating a vibrant backdrop using the Candy Twist Stencil. I used The Rabbit Hole Designs Cottontail Embossing Powder Tool to blend distress oxide inks. I then die cut the panel using the largest of the dies from the You've Been Framed Layering Dies, and then again on a white panel using the smallest die. I used a circle punch to create the circle. I then assembled it and adhered it to an A2 card base.

I then used Versamark ink to stamp the image on black cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I used Prismacolor pencils to color it, and then used the coordinating die to cut it out. I adhered it to the panel with foam strips for dimension.

The sentiment is also from the same set and was heat embossed and adhered with foam strips as well. I finished the card with different shades of purple sequins to add some interest and sparkle.

Thank you so much for dropping in with me today. Have a Fantastic day!!

AECP Level 2 - Polychromatic

Hi there, friends! I would like to share with you two cards that I created after my lesson in the Polychromatic course with Nina-Marie Trapani from the Altenew Educator Certification Program.

For the first card, I was inspired by lesson three with Nina, Faux Hand-Watercolored Effect. This card features the Altenew Build-A-Flower Camelia Japonica Layering Stamp & Die Set

I used one of the floral layering images and inked up the image with Alpine Aster and Crystal Violet. Nina uses Zig markers in the lesson, which I do not have, so I used ink pads and dabbed them onto the stamp. I then lightly spritzed it with water. I then stamped it in the center of a panel of Canson XL watercolor paper. It worked just as well, so always use what you have on hand. I did the same with the leaves, stamping them in Eucalyptus and Forest Fern Fresh Dye inks.

The sentiment was directly stamped onto the panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I covered up the sentiment with a piece of scrap paper, and then splattered Crystal Violet and Charcoal Suit onto the panel for added interest.

I cut out the panel using Pinkfresh Studio Blanket Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it to an A2 card base. Blue sequins added a finishing touch to the card.

For my second card, I was inspired by lesson 2, Monochromatic Colors. I used the Altenew Queen Anemone to create this card. I began stamping one of the floral layering images with Altenew Blush Fresh Dye ink. I stamped it onto a pink panel, creating a floral background. I used a few Copic markers in the lightest shades (RV000, RV02, and RV10) and tested them before using them as Nina recommended, and I was satisfied with the result.

I cut the panel using a scalloped stitched border die and then adhered it to a white A2 card base. The sentiment was cut from the Altenew Versatile Greetings Die Set, which was cut on pink glitter cardstock. I cut it twice, then glued them together for dimension, and then adhered them to the panel with glue. I added a few pink sequins to complete the card.

I am absolutely thrilled with how this card turned out, and I will definitely be making a few more using this fun technique.

I appreciate you stopping by and sharing this wonderful journey with me. Until next time, have fun crafting.

It's Beginning To Taste A Lot Like Christmas

Happy Friday, crafty friends!! I was inspired to design this card for the Mama Elephant Guest Designer Call 2024.

My card features the Little Gingerbread Agenda Stamp Set. I have stamped the images, colored them with Copic markers, and added some shading with Prismacolor pencils. There are coordinating creative cuts available, but I cut them out with my Scan N Cut machine. The Gingerbread House is from Pink & Main, and is called Gingerbread Kisses

The background was created using the smooshing technique on a panel of Canson XL watercolor paper using Distress Oxide Inks Lucky Clover and Festive Berries. I trimmed it to 4 x 5.25 and adhered it to an A2 white card base with foam strips for dimension. The sentiment is from the same set mentioned above and was heat embossed with white embossing powder on black cardstock. I touched up the lights with Wink of Stella and added sequins to complete the card.

I hope my card has made you smile. Thank you for dropping in with me today. Have a Fantastic weekend!

So Thankful For You

Hi there friends! I am so excited to be sharing my first card with you as a member of the Design Team for the Beautiful Blossoms Challenge.

We are back with a new challenge, and, as you know, it's Anything Floral Goes! An optional mood board is available for inspiration. I can't wait to see your creations! Happy Crafting!

Please head over to our Blog and check out the rest of the wonderful inspirational work from the Design Team!

I used the Pinkfresh Studio Believe in Yourself stamp set and coordinating die. This is a beautiful floral layered set, which makes creating cards easy and quick. The image was stamped, colored, and cut out with the corresponding die.

I used the Pinkfresh Studio Blanket Stitched Rectangle Die to cut a panel of Tranquil Tide cardstock. For additional dimension, I cut another panel and glued it together, adhering it to a white mat. For even more detail and interest, I applied Versamark ink to the edges of the mat and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder. It was then adhered to an A2 card base.

The floral image was adhered to the panel with foam strips to give it more dimension. The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things Bitty Thanks & Gratitude Set. It was heat embossed with gold embossing powder and cut down with a sentiment strip die. I also added a few gold matted gems to complete the card.

Thank you for dropping in today. Have a Fantastic day!

Popping By To Say I Love You

Hello friends! Carrianne here and I'm thrilled to be back on The Rabbit Hole Designs blog. Today, I have a sweet card to share with you using the Balloon Animals Stamp Set 1 with the matching dies, illustrated by Dustin Pikes.

I stamped the balloon animal once on white cardstock, and again using a mirror image stamp to reverse the image. I used Copic markers to color the images and Prismacolor pencils to add some shading. I die-cut them out with the matching die.

For the background, I used the largest die from the You've Been Framed Layering Dies on white cardstock and adhered it to an A2 size panel. The same die was used to cut a sheet of the Spring Floral 6x6 Paper Pack, placed it on the panel, and adhered it with glue.

The two sentiments were stamped directly onto the panel. One sentiment comes from the same set mentioned above, and the other comes from the Sentimentally Speaking Stamp Set. I added white sequins to complete the card.

Thank you for dropping in with me today! Have a Fantastic day!

Let It Snow!

Happy Saturday, friends! I'm sharing a card that I created for the August Christmas Caroling Instagram hop. My card is based on the song Let It Snow and was inspired by a childhood memory of a snow day.

My card features Unity Stamp Co. 3 Snowbuddies which was stamped, colored and cut out using my Scan N Cut machine and set aside.

The background was created using the Ink N Splatter Winter Blues 6 x 6 Paper Pad which was glued directly to an A2 card baseA white panel was cut using a snow drift die after stamping the sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Winter Greetings directly to it with Versafine Onyx black ink. I adhered it to the card base with foam strips for dimension.

To add texture to the scene, I cut a few evergreen trees from Sizzix on olive green cardstock and glued them under the snow drift. The image was popped up on foam strips for more dimension, and snowflakes and sequins were added to complete the card.

Hope Your Day Is A Pile of Fun

Hi there, friends! Happy Friday!

Today, I am sharing a fun fall birthday card featuring the La-La Land Crafts Pile of Fun Stamp set. This set comes with three adorable critter images, a pile of leaves, and several sweet sentiments.

I stamped, colored, and cut the images out using my Scan N Cut machine and then set them aside. I used the My Favorite Things Inside & Outside Arch Stax Die-namics to cut two of the largest dies and adhere them together for dimension. I then chose a fun plaid design from the Halloween Harvest 6 x 6 Paper Pad from Honey Bee Stamps. I reduced it to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and adhered it to an A2 white card base.

I assembled my card by placing some images onto foam strips and some with glue. The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder and also placed on foam strips. I finished the card by adding some orange sequins.

Happy Thanksgiving

Hello, crafty friends!

A quick and simple card with just a stamp, some pattern paper, and alcohol markers. Let's dive into the details.

My card features the Kat Scrappiness Gobble Gobble Stamp Set. This set consists of three funny turkey images, eight amusing sentiments, and a few add-on stamps.

For the background, I used Kat Scrappiness Falling Leaves Paper Pad which is coordinated with delightful autumn colors and patterns.

I then stamped the turkey image, colored, and fussy cut the images out. However, there are coordinating dies available. I die-cut a circle and attached it directly to the panel with glue. Then I popped the turkey up on foam strips for dimension. I glued the falling leaves directly to the panel for added interest.

The sentiment is from the same set and was heat embossed on black cardstock with white embossing powder, trimmed, and adhered directly to the panel with glue. I completed the card with some autumn-colored sequins.

Thank you for dropping in with me today! Have a Fantastic day!

Enjoying These Lazy Hazy Days of Summer

Hello there Crafty Friends! I am so excited to have won a spot as Guest Designer for The Paper Funday Challenge

For August, the theme is Anything Goes, but you can play with the optional twist of Summer Holiday and/or Vacation to challenge yourself.

Have you ever had a stressful week and heard yourself say, "I need a vacation?" This is my idea of vacation. Well, that's what my card is all about. Who says you need to pack a bag and go away on vacation? To me, vacations are about taking a day to relax and recharge. Wouldn't you agree?

To convey my idea of vacation, I decided to use the Recharge Stamp set and matching dies from Colorado Craft Company, illustrations of Anita Jeram. This set features two laid-back images with a few sentiments that match perfectly with your card creations. Are you able to relate?

I began by stamping the image and coloring it with Copic markers. Then, I die cut it with the matching dies. I used a circle stencil to create the sun in the center of a white A2 sized panel. I used the You've Been Framed Layering Dies from The Rabbit Hole Designs and adhered it to a yellow card base. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink and adhered the image to foam strips for dimension.

I hope you enjoy my card and that it inspires you to take a break and recharge! Happy crafting!

The Rabbit Hole Designs August 2024 Release Blog Hop

Hello, friends! Today, I am so excited to announce the August 2024 New Release of not one but TWO adorable balloon stamp sets with coordinating dies by The Rabbit Hole Designs, as well as a blog hop with loads of inspiration from our amazing design team. You can find the full hop list at the end of this post.

I will be showcasing the Balloon Animals Set #1 for you, as well as some products from the July release.

I created the background using the Paisley Bandana Stencil from the July release, which I used in a variety of bright colors. I then proceeded to cut the panel using the middle-sized You've Been Framed Layering Dies, followed by cutting a pink panel using the largest of the dies. I then used the smallest of the dies on vellum. I adhered them together and attached them to an A2 white card base.

I then stamped the floral balloon image from the Balloon Animals Stamp Set #1 and colored it with alcohol markers, which were consistent with the background. I then cut it out using the matching die. The sentiment is from Sentimentally Speaking Stamp Set also from the July release and was stamped in black ink, cut with the matching dies, and adhered to the panel with foam strips to add dimension. I also added iridescent sequins for a touch of sparkle to complete the card.

I hope you enjoyed my card and that you find inspiration to create one yourself today. Please be sure to follow along on the hop for even more inspiration.
