For my card, I used Snake and Sidney. I absolutely love how the snake is wrapped around Sidney—it's almost like he's giving him a big hug! Or maybe they're just sharing a friendly squeeze. Either way, it’s such a fun and quirky pairing!

I downloaded the image, which was super easy to do, and colored it with Copic markers. I used my Scan N Cut machine to carefully cut it out. Next, I went through my paper stash and found a fun patterned paper, which I trimmed to 2 x 4 1/4 inches and adhered to the bottom of a white card base. I popped the image up on foam tape for added dimension and used a sentiment from Whimsy Stamps, Instigator, which was just perfect! I stamped the sentiment directly onto the panel in black ink. To finish the card, I added a few green sequins for a little extra sparkle.

Eat your Veggies

Hi friends! Today, I’m thrilled to be joining in a special inspirational hop with Artful Angel, where we’re s showcasing some of the incredible stamp sets that have been released throughout the years. We also have a few special guests participating, so there’s even more creativity to enjoy! Plus, there’s a fabulous giveaway, so be sure to hop over and check it out—you won’t want to miss the amazing creations, and I promise you won’t be disappointed!

For my card, I combined a few stamp sets—Growing Garden, Gardening, and Garden Gnomes—to create a cheerful garden scene. I colored the images with Copic Markers and then used my Scan N Cut machine to cut them out with precision. For the background, I blended Distress Oxide inks, Salty Ocean to the top and Walnut Stain to the bottom, creating a soft, vibrant gradient.

To frame the scene, I used a stitched square die to cut out the panel, and adhered it to a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2-inch white card base. I carefully arranged the images and secured them with liquid adhesive for the smaller elements and foam tape for the ones I wanted to pop up. To enhance the outdoor feel, I added some stitched clouds and a sun, which helped set the scene. Finally, I stamped the sentiment directly onto the panel for a clean and crisp finish.

Happy Pride

Hi friends! Today, I'm excited to share a cheerful card to celebrate Pride Day, featuring @therabbitholedesigns latest release, Sentimentally Speaking Holiday Sentiments, paired with the fun Candy Twist Stencil. I hope it brings some extra color and joy to your day!

I began with a panel of white cardstock and carefully masked off the area just below the center with tape. I then placed the Candy Twist Stencil on top and blended a beautiful array of rainbow colors, creating a fun and colorful background. 

Once the blending was complete, I adhered the panel to a black card base to make the colors pop. I stamped the sentiment in black ink, used the matching die to cut it out, and popped it up on foam tape for added dimension. To finish the card, I scattered a few rainbow-colored sequins around the sentiment, adding a little extra sparkle and movement to the design.

Sending Birthday Wishes

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing a beautiful floral card featuring the Perfect Peony Pre-Coloured digital image and a sentiment from the Alcea Hollyhock Flowers digital set. I framed the image with a die, layered it on a black mat, and added decorated border dies to a pink panel. The image is popped on foam tape, and I finished it with a black card base and black sequins for some sparkle!

Can't Wait to Sea You

Exciting News! Lili of the Valley has released THREE brand-new stamp sets, and I'm diving in to share a card featuring the Under the Sea Stamp Set with these super cute sea creatures!

I began by blending a slimline panel with Distress Oxide inks in Blueprint Sketch, Twisted Citron, and Wilted Violet to create a colorful ocean backdrop. I then added some water splatters to give it a textured, sea-like effect. 

After that, I cut a white panel using the Whimsy Stamps Slimline Waves die and adhered it over the blended background. I colored the images with Copic Markers, then popped them up on foam tape to give them some extra dimension. 

To finish the card, I added a few clear dew drops from Honey Bee Stamps Dew Drops Reflections AB for a touch of sparkle, making the scene feel even more magical.

Wishing You a Happy Birthday

Welcome to a brand new challenge at Pattie’s Creations Challenge Blog! As always, the theme is Anything Goes, so feel free to get as creative as you’d like. 

For my DT card, I couldn’t resist using the adorable Henry the Party Hippo digital image to celebrate a special birthday! It’s just the perfect image to bring a smile to anyone’s face on their big day. I hope my card sparks some inspiration, and I look forward to seeing all the wonderful creations you’ll share with us!

I started by downloading the adorable Henry the Hippo digital image and had so much fun coloring him in with my Copic Markers. Once he was all colored, I used my Scan N Cut machine to carefully cut him out. For the background, I decided to dig through my paper stash and came across this vibrant, fun paper from Kat Scrappiness called Birthday Quokka. It coordinated perfectly with my birthday theme!

I cut the patterned paper to 4.25 x 3 inches for the main panel, then trimmed a smaller piece to 4.25 x 1 inches. For a bit of variety, I flipped the smaller piece over to showcase the reverse pattern. Both pieces were then adhered to a crisp white card base, creating a cheerful and colorful backdrop.

To complete the design, I stamped a birthday sentiment from Waffle Flower Crafts' Birthday Wishes Combo in black ink directly onto the card base. Finally, I popped the sweet hippo up on foam tape to add dimension and make him really stand out.

Happy Father's Day!

Welcome back to the April Paper Funday Challenge! We’re so excited to have you join us this month. Our amazing sponsors for this challenge are Varada Sharma and Whimsy Stamps, and as always, the theme is Anything Goes, with a fun twist: Things that begin with the letter B. We can’t wait to see what you create!

My card features Whimsy Stamps digital image, with a twist of things that begin with the letter B – say hello to Dudley BBQ! It’s ‘buns’ of fun!

I started by printing the image and adjusting the size to my liking, then I colored it with Copic Markers and used my Scan N Cut machine to carefully cut it out.

For the background, I blended Distress Oxide inks onto a panel of Canson XL Watercolor cardstock, using Salty Ocean for the sky and Twisted Citron for the grass, to create a soft, yet vibrant backdrop for the image.

Next, I placed the Pine Trees Stencil from Waffle Flower Crafts on top of the panel and blended Distress Evergreen ink through it, adding a beautiful forest effect to the scene.

I then used foam tape to adhere the image to the panel, giving it some dimension, and added the sentiment to complete the design.

You Make Me Smile

I’m so honored to be guest designing for Park Hopping My Happy Place this April! The inspirational board this month is filled with the cutest critters, making it hard to choose. After much thought, I’ve decided to create a card featuring a fox, and I really hope you love it as much as I do!

My card features the Caffeinated Critter Limited Edition Bundle from The Rabbit Hole Designs. This delightful bundle includes the most adorable critters craving their caffeine fix, complete with matching dies, the fun Sip, Sip, Ahh Stencil, and the versatile Blended Sentiments Sheets. It’s the perfect set for any coffee lover!

I stamped the image, colored it with alcohol markers, and cut it out using the matching die. For the background, I started by cutting a panel using Hello Blue Bird, You Make Me Smile Die and decided to use the negative space for a more creative effect. Then, I used the Sip, Sip, Ahh Stencil to add coffee beans and a coffee stain to the panel, setting it aside. The design felt a bit too clean for my taste, so I blended some brown ink along the edges to add a more distressed feel. 

For the second panel, I blended brown and orange distress oxide inks to cover the entire surface, then added some black splatter for extra texture. Once both panels were ready, I adhered them together with liquid adhesive. From there, I adhered the panel to a white card base and used foam tape to pop the fox on top of the 'O' adding some dimension and a fun, playful element to the design.
