Poinsettia Greetings with Sentimentally Speaking Holiday Bundle - The Rabbit Hole Designs

Hi friends! Today I’m back with more holiday inspiration featuring the beautiful Sentimentally Speaking Holiday Stamp Set and Die Set from The Rabbit Hole Designs. I paired it with the elegant Poinsettia and Pinecones Stamp & Die Set which is the perfect combination for timeless, festive designs.

I’m getting a jump start on next year’s Christmas cards, and these sets make it easy to create something classic and heartfelt. After all, it’s never too early to sprinkle in a little holiday magic!

I began by stamping the poinsettia and leaves, then coloring them with Copic Markers for a festive, detailed look. After coloring, I cut them out using the coordinating dies and set them aside.

For the background, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to A2 size and added a 2" x 5 1/2" strip of red cardstock to the right side. I softly blended gray ink around the edges of the red panel to add depth, then adhered it with liquid adhesive.

Next, I die cut a grosgrain ribbon from black cardstock and adhered it to the left side of the red strip for a bold contrast. I arranged the poinsettia and leaves on the lower portion of the card and popped them up using foam tape for added dimension.

The sentiment was stamped in red ink, cut with the matching die, and placed centered above the poinsettias to balance the composition. To finish the design, I scattered a few gold sequins for a touch of festive sparkle.

The Paper Funday May Challenge DT Card

Welcome back to The Paper Funday Challenge! We’re so excited to have you join us for another month of creativity and inspiration. This month’s challenge is generously sponsored by Altenew and Picket Fence Studios - a huge thank you to them for their amazing support and fabulous prizes!

As always, the theme is Anything Goes, but with a fresh twist: we’re celebrating something new! Whether it’s a new baby, a new home, a new job, a fresh start.  

My card features Altenew HUG ME Stamp Set and Picket Fence Studios sentiment, and I also included the twist which celebrates something new—a birthday! After all, each birthday marks the start of a brand-new year filled with possibilities. 

I started this cheerful birthday card by stamping one of the cute images from Altenew Hug Me Stamp Set and coloring it with alcohol markers, using bright, playful tones to match the festive feel of the design. Once colored, I ran it through my Scan N Cut machine but there is a bundle set which include the dies here. 

For the background, I picked out some fun, colorful balloon-patterned paper that perfectly coordinated with the image and instantly set the celebratory mood. To help the image stand out without overpowering the background, I die cut a stitched circle from vellum and layered it behind the stamped image. I then popped the image up on foam tape to add dimension and give it a bit of a spotlight effect.

The sentiment is from Picket Fence Studios Surprise It's Your Day. I heat embossed it in white embossing powder on black cardstock, then used the matching die to cut it out for a clean, professional look. I adhered it just to the left of the focal image to pull everything together.

The combination of bold colors, soft vellum, and crisp die cuts made this card so much fun to create—and it's the perfect way to celebrate a new year in someone’s life!

DT Card for Lil Patch of Crafty Friends

For my DT card this month, I’m featuring the beautiful Garden Wheel Barrow image from All Dressed Up. Isn’t it just perfect for spring?

To create my card, I colored the image with Copic markers, then cut it out using a stitched circle die. For a bit of extra dimension, I cut a second circle from white cardstock and layered them together. I used a stitched square die to cut a piece of blue cardstock and adhered it to a square card panel. Then, I trimmed a cheerful yellow patterned paper to 2" x 5", adhered it down the center with liquid adhesive, and placed my stitched circle right in the middle.

The sentiment is from the Sentimentally Speaking Set by The Rabbit Hole Designs. I stamped it, cut it out with the matching die, and popped it up with foam tape for a bit of lift. To finish off the design, I added a few yellow iridescent sequins for just the right touch of sparkle.

Lili of the Valley NEW Release Waving Hi Animals

Hi friends! Today, I’m delighted to share my Design Team card for Lili of the Valley, featuring the adorable Waving Hi Animals set from the recent release. This charming set includes a total of 18 animals—two of each critter—with both lined and no-line versions, making it super versatile and perfect for all kinds of creative styles!

For this card, I chose two of the sweetest characters—the cat and the mouse—and thought it would be absolutely darling to pair them together. I love how they’re both waving with such happy little expressions.

I started this cheerful card by printing the digital images on Neenah Solar White 110lb cardstock. After coloring them with Copic Markers, I used my Scan N Cut machine to cut them out.

For the background, I created a white A2 panel and used a stitched square die to cut out two windows, giving the layout a fun and interactive feel. I added foam tape to the back of the panel to create depth and dimension, then layered it over a piece of green polka-dotted patterned paper to bring in a playful, spring-like vibe.

With the background set, I popped the cut images up on foam tape and positioned them inside each window, turning them into little framed scenes. The sentiment also from Lili of the Valley, felt like a perfect match for the mood of the card. I printed it on green cardstock to coordinate with the background, trimmed it down, and adhered it using liquid adhesive for a smooth finish.

I love how this layout lets each image shine while keeping the overall look fun and cohesive. It's a sweet little scene that would brighten anyone’s day!

Hi friends! I’m excited to share a sweet and playful card today featuring the Glamping with Tailette stamp set from The Rabbit Hole Designs.

This set completely stole my heart — it includes the most adorable little camper and a charming squirrel named Tailette, perfect for building a whimsical outdoor scene.

To create this fun and cozy scene, I started by stamping the adorable images from the Glamping with Tailette Set and coloring them with Copic markers. I then used the coordinating dies to cut each piece out perfectly.

Before building my background, I did some ink smooshing in shades of blue and green to create a loose, organic look — perfect for capturing the feel of sky and grass. Once it dried, I used the largest die from the You've Been Framed set to cut the panel, which I then adhered to a green card base to enhance that natural, outdoorsy feel.

Next, I arranged the images in the center of the panel using foam tape for added depth and dimension — it gives the whole card that popped-up, playful feel I love.

To finish it off, I stamped one of the sentiments from the set and used the sentiment strip die from the You've Been Framed set to frame it nicely. I adhered it to the right side of the panel, giving the design a clean, well-balanced finish.

Mermazing Birthday Hugs

Hi friends! A brand new Polkadoodles challenge is live on the blog, and I’m mermazingly excited to share my DT card featuring the adorable Winnie Mermaid Mermazing (pre-colored) best friends digital image. I just can’t get enough of how she’s making waves while sharing a warm sea-cret hug with the little dolphin! It’s the perfect blend of under-the-sea charm and whale of a good time. 

I blended through a sea foam stencil using Distress Oxide inks to create a textured ocean scene, then spritzed it with water for dimension. A light mist of glitter spray added some shimmer. After trimming the panel to 4 x 5.25 inches, I adhered it to a white card base and popped the image up on foam tape. The sentiment was heat embossed in white, and to finish, I added iridescent gems as bubbles for a touch of sparkle.

Pattie's Creations May DT Card

Welcome to a brand new challenge at Pattie’s Creations Challenge Blog! As always, the theme is Anything Goes, so feel free to get as creative as you’d like. 

For my DT card, I used a retired digital image called Blooming Bucket—a classic favorite that's always fun to revisit! I printed the image and colored it with Copic Markers, using cheerful yellow tones for the flowers to create a bright, happy feel. Once colored, I fussy cut the image to give it a clean, detailed finish.

Before adding the images, I dry embossed a white panel to serve as the background. The subtle texture adds a lovely bit of depth and interest, while keeping the focus on the florals. I adhered a strip of pretty patterned paper along the bottom edge of the panel, then popped up the fussy-cut image with foam tape for dimension.

The sentiment was stamped, trimmed, and attached directly to the embossed panel with liquid adhesive. Everything was then mounted onto a sleek black card base, which really makes those yellow flowers pop.

For this challenge, we’re asking you to choose a color (or colors) from the inspiration photo and make it the star of your creation but if a different shade from the photo speaks to you — go with it!

There’s no wrong way to be inspired, so let your creativity guide you and most importantly… have fun! 

My card features the adorable Jaded Blossom Gnome Brewed Stamp Set, and I paired it with the playful Kat Scrappiness Coffee Quokka Paper Pad for a fun, caffeinated twist!

I started by stamping the adorable images from the Jaded Blossom Gnome Brewed Stamp Set and colored them with Copic Markers. I then fussy cut them out.

For the background, I trimmed a fun patterned paper of coffee mugs from Kat Scrappiness Coffee Quokka Paper Pad to fit an A2 size panel. To make the design a little more interesting, I flipped the paper to showcase both sides of the paper pad — creating a fun, coordinated look that really brought the card together.

I then cut a stitched circle from white cardstock and place it in the center of the panel. The contrast between the clean, white circle and the busy background made the perfect frame for the images. I adhered the images on top using foam tapeto give them added dimension and a bit of lift.

To complete the card, I stamped the sentiment from the Jaded Blossom Gnome Brewed Stamp Set, then used a sentiment strip die to cut it out. I adhered the sentiment to the panel with foam tape as well, ensuring everything was cohesive and had that extra dimension to make it stand out.
