You Mean A Latte To Me

Hello friends! I hope you are all enjoying your day!

I am delighted to have been invited as a guest designer on Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge Blog. I received this digital image from Paper Nest Dolls, Avery with Coffee (with glasses) to create with. This is my first Paper Nest Doll product and I just really love it.

I began with a Canson XL watercolor panel. I created my background using a technique known as Smooshing. I added some Distress Oxide inks Squeezed Lemonade, Salty Ocean, and Kitsch Flamingo to my craft sheet and then added water with my Distress Sprayer. I then grabbed my panel and started to "smoosh" it into the colors for this fun background. The panel was cut using the Photo Play Nested Stitched Scallops Die set.

I then colored the image with Copic markers, using the same colors as the background. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Coffee and Conversation and was stamped onto the panel with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I added iridescent sequins to complete the card.

I hope my card has sparked your creativity. Thank you for visiting, and have a wonderful day!
