Welcome to the Cards for all Seasons 2025 Hop hosted by @createwithkas For Week 15, our theme is Hollywood Glam/Bollywood glitter & glitz! If this inspires you, please use the #CFAScardhop2025 or message Kelly to join!

For my card, I featured the fabulous Jackie Foxy Mama stamp from @stampanniething — she’s giving total glam queen energy and was absolutely perfect for this sparkly theme! I used the Sparkle & Shine Paper PackDouble Stitched Stars Dies, and Scalloped Rectangles Die from @lalalandcrafts

I began by stamping Jackie Foxy Mama from Stamp Anniething onto Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock, then brought her to life with Copic markers. After coloring, I used the coordinating die to cut her out. She’s dressed to impress and totally rocking the glam look!

For the background, I reached for the Sparkle & Shine Paper Pack from La-La Land Crafts, which was perfect for this week’s theme. I used the Scalloped Rectangles Die, cut out the center of the patterned paper, and popped the frame up with foam tape for added dimension.

To add even more sparkle, I die cut several stars from gold metallic cardstock and scattered them across the panel. The sentiment was heat embossed in gold on black cardstock and placed to the left of Foxy Mama — who, of course, was also popped up on foam tape for a little extra spotlight!

From her glam outfit to the glittery background, this card was so fun to create — and I hope it adds a little star power to your day!

Just One Color Instagram Hop July

Welcome to the Just One Color Hop!

This fun and creative hop is all about the challenge of using just one color in our cardmaking! Each month, we explore a new hue and push ourselves to get creative within that single color family. While a touch of neutral may sneak in here and there, the main focus stays on one bold, beautiful color.

If you’d like to join the fun, feel free to message @craftyengineer or @sharonjamesorama to hop in on a future round! And don’t forget to check out all the amazing creations by exploring #justonecolorIGhop2025 on Instagram.

For July, our featured color is PURPLE 💜 — and we’ve added an extra credit twist: incorporate food or drinks into your design!

My card is all about birthday fun, featuring the Birthday Words Stencil from Pretty Pink Posh and the Sweet Birthday Girl stamp set from My Favorite Things Pure Innocence line. It’s a party in purple — and I’m excited to share it with you!

I started by stamping the My Favorite Things Pure Innocence Sweet Birthday Girl and coloring her in a beautiful blend of purples using Copic markers.

For the background, I reached for the Birthday Words Stencil by Pretty Pink Posh and placed it over a panel of lavender cardstock, then softly ink blended several shades of purple over the stencil to create a dreamy, tone-on-tone effect. The subtle texture adds just the right amount of interest without overwhelming the focal image.

Once dry, I ran the panel through my die-cutting machine with a scalloped frame die, then layered it onto a piece of deep eggplant cardstock for contrast and dimension. That full panel was then adhered to a lavender card base to bring everything together in one cohesive purple palette.

To finish it off, I heat embossed the sentiment in white on a coordinating piece of eggplant cardstock, trimmed it down, and popped both the sentiment and the stamped image up with foam tape for added dimension and visual focus.

Thanks for stopping by — hope your day is plum perfect!

Crushing Christmas Cards Instagram Hop 2025 - July

It’s time for the Crushing Christmas Cards Hop! I had so much fun creating this festive scene featuring the adorable Christmas Penguins Digi Stamp from Amanda Jayne Designs!

I paired them with the beautiful Cover Up Die Snowflakes by Lil' Inker Designs (a beloved brand that. has since closed) and brought it all to life with a vibrant background using Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers - Tropical Fiesta Set. Color, texture, and cuteness? Check, check, and check!

Be sure to head over to Instagram and hop along for tons of holiday inspiration — and get a head start on those handmade cards!

To create this card, I began by printing the Christmas Penguins Digital Image onto Neenah Solar White 80lb cardstock. I colored it with alcohol markers and fussy cut it for a crisp, clean edge.

For the background, I worked on a panel of Canson XL watercolor paper, lightly misting it with water before applying Turquoise and Purple Wine shades from the Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers – Tropical Fiesta Set. The ink flowed beautifully with the water, creating a dreamy, blended effect that reminded me of a chilly winter sky.

Once dry, I took a piece of white cardstock and die cut it using the Snowflakes Cover Up Die from Lil' Inker Designs. I adhered this detailed die-cut over the watercolor panel with liquid glue to allow the vibrant colors to peek through the snowflake pattern.

Next, I added dimension by popping the colored penguin and the heat-embossed sentiment on foam tape. Everything was assembled onto a clean white card base for a crisp wintery finish.

This card combines texture, color, and cute winter charm — and it was so much fun to make!

Thanks for waddling by! Hope your day is flippin’ fantastic!

Get ready to dig into some crafty fun because today I’m sharing a clean and simple card made with the absolutely adorable I Dig You Stamp Set and Die Set from The Rabbit Hole Designs and it’s blooming with charm!

This set is filled with the cutest gardening vibes, complete with whimsical characters and punny sentiments that are perfect for friendship cards, thank-yous, or just-because notes that’ll plant a smile on someone’s face.

I chose a bright yellow base to add a cheerful touch. More Inspiration with The Rabbit Hole Designs Dragon Fun Bundle

Hi friends! I'm sharing this smokin’ cute dragon card using the Dragon Fun Bundle from The Rabbit Hole Designs. He’s bringing the heat and a whole lot of charm!

After stamping and coloring the images with alcohol markers, I used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

For the background, I softly blended a pale blue ink across the top of a white panel to create an airy sky, letting the color fade naturally toward the center. I followed with a lime green blend from the bottom upward, creating a soft transition into the blue to resemble a grassy landscape.

I then die-cut the panel using the medium-sized You've Been Framed Layering Die Set and mounted it to a white card base. I added the images with foam tape for a playful pop and stamped the sentiment from the set directly onto the background in crisp black ink.

Thanks for flying by! I hope your day is fire-breathing fabulous!

I Dig You Stamp and Die Set from The Rabbit Hole Designs

Hi friends! Today I’m sharing a clean and simple card that’s full of charm (and a little dirt) featuring the adorable “I Dig You” Stamp & Die Set from The Rabbit Hole Designs.

Let’s be honest... I DIG this set so much! It’s perfect for spreading smiles with minimal fuss—and those little details make it pop!

I started by stamping the images, coloring them with alcohol markers, and cutting them out with the matching dies. To create a clean, grounded background, I placed masking tape on the panel and blended some blue and brown inks for a crisp, straight edge. Then I popped the images up with foam tape for a little dimension. The sentiment is stamped in black ink just below the scene to tie it all together.

Thanks for visiting! Hope your day is rooted in joy and full of crafty vibes!

I’m excited to share a fun and festive card created to celebrate the 4th of July, featuring some fantastic products from The Rabbit Hole Designs. This card is bright, playful, and full of summer flavor—literally!

To celebrate the season, I created a bold background using the Connected by the Stars Stencil—blending patriotic red, white, and blue tones to mimic festive fireworks and twinkling night skies. The stars bring instant 4th of July energy!

To add a bit of whimsy, I stamped the cupcake from the One in a Melon Stamp Set, colored it with coordinating alcohol markers for a sweet little nod to summer treats and cut it out with the One in a Melon Dies

Then I brought in the Sentimentally Speaking Holiday Bundle to add a greeting that really stood out. This set is packed with sentiments for nearly every holiday, making it easy to find the perfect one no matter the season.

Thanks so much for stopping by on this special day! I hope you’re enjoying the holiday—whether you’re watching fireworks, hosting a BBQ, or sneaking in a little creative time.

Altenew Mixed Media Magic: Create a Card that Shines Workshop

Last night, I had the absolute joy of teaching my second Altenew workshop, and what a fun, creative evening it was! This time, we dove into another mixed media card project—full of texture, shimmer, and layered goodness that brought out everyone’s unique creative voice.

We explored shimmer sprays, stenciling with paste, working with geometric stamped elements and layering die-cut florals to create depth and visual interest. It was all about mixing mediums in a simple, approachable way to get that bold, artistic feel without overcomplicating the process.

One of my favorite parts? Seeing how each participant took the same techniques and made them their own! Every project had its own flair, which is what I love most about mixed media—it’s messy, expressive, and totally you.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined me live. It means so much to create alongside such an encouraging and talented community.

Until then, stay creative, stay curious, and keep making magic!

Smiles - Mixed Media Magic

Today I had the joy of crafting with my sweet friend Andrea, who missed my workshop last night. We went through all the techniques together—and because we both adore mixed media, we couldn’t resist putting our own creative spin on it.

There’s just something special about slowing down, sharing ideas, and creating side by side with someone who gets your crafty soul.

Grateful for days like this, full of layers, laughter, and a little shimmer.

Colorful Options Challenge - July 2025 DT Card

Hello crafty friends! A new month means it’s time for a brand-new Colorful Options Challenge—and this one’s serving up all the summer picnic vibes! Think juicy reds, sunny yellows, cool blues, and fresh greens. Feeling bold? The rainbow theme is always an option too! Can’t wait to see what you make!

Say hello to gnome-y cuteness! This card features the C.C. Designs Cutie Gnome Stamp Set + dies—seriously fun to craft with and ideal for scene-building magic!

The gnomes are out to play! I stamped and colored the adorable characters from the C.C. Designs Cutie Gnome set, then cut them with coordinating dies.

For their woodland hangout, I blended up a forest scene using Hello Bluebird’s Summer Woods Scene Die. Distress Oxides in Walnut Stain, Twisted Citron, and Mowed Lawn brought the trees and grass to life.

Everything is arranged on a clean slimline base with foam tape and a cheerful sentiment to tie it all together. A joy to make from start to finish!

Thanks gnome-uch for stopping by! Wishing you a crafty and colorful day—see you next time!

The Paper Funday July Challenge - DT Card

Welcome back to The Paper Funday Challenges!

We’re thrilled to have you joining us for another month of creativity and inspiration. This month’s challenge is proudly sponsored by Lawn Fawn and Newton’s Nook, and we’re keeping things wide open with an Anything Goes theme! But to add a little extra spark, we’re giving it a fun twist: Fun with Stencils!

So grab your favorite stencils and let your imagination run wild. We can't wait to see what you create!

To frame the design, I used the Slimline Waves Die from Whimsy Stamps as a decorative border, adding a wave-inspired edge that perfectly complements the theme.

For the background, I blended shades of blue and beige ink to create a beachy backdrop full of summer fun. I also included a sun die and two wave dies from the La-La Land Crafts June Kit of the Month to add more dimension and a playful, layered look.

The sentiment is from the same Newton’s Nook set, and I heat embossed it in black for a crisp, bold finish. All the elements came together to make this slimline card feel like a mini day at the beach!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my card! I hope it inspires you to dig out your summer-themed stamps and create a card that makes you smile. Happy crafting!
